Recital Dates and Policies

We will have a casual Holiday Extravaganza showcase on Saturday, December 14, 2024. All dancers will have an opportunity to perform in this fun family event. Seating is limited for this free event and is first come first served. More information will be sent out later in the fall semester.

Our spring recitals will be held Saturday, May 31, 2025 at Republic High School.  More information will be provided as we near the performance date. Participation in our spring recital is optional, but highly recommended for all students in performance classes. Depending on enrollment, we will plan to have two recitals to accommodate our growing student count.

Spring recital dress rehearsals will be held during classes in spring once we receive costumes. Parents will receive information about alterations or embellishments that need to be made following this dress rehearsal. Dress rehearsal information will be provided in the spring semester.

Technical rehearsal for all dancers will be held the evening before or the morning of the recital (Friday or Saturday, May 30-May 31) at the theater and is closed to the public. More information regarding call times for classes will be provided at a later date.

All dance classes will learn material to be presented at recital. Tumbling, Technique, Flexibility, and Acro classes do not perform in the recital. Please note, all tumbling/acro classes will have a show and tell for family during their class time the week before our holiday show and recital to show off what they have learned.

Company members will perform selected competitive pieces during recital and will use costuming from competition. Company may be asked to purchase pieces to be used for an opening number or finale.  Company members have the option to perform only company dances or purchase costumes and perform with their classes.

Recital Fees

Costume fees vary per class and are due in January/February.  Please budget $75-$125 depending on what class(es) your child is enrolled in. Costume fees cover the cost of the costume, embellishments, props, as well as a recital t-shirt for your dancer.

Recital fees will be due in April.  Budget around $90 per student and $45 per additional student in the same household for recital fee. Recital Fees cover the cost of the theater rental and labor during the show and technical rehearsal.

With your paid recital fee, you will receive a discount code for $30 off your recital tickets and a flash drive video of the entire show . Additional tickets or show videos may be purchased at a later date and this information will be provided in the spring semester via email.
