Melani Deal began her career as a competitive gymnast and high school cheerleader. She continued her love of gymnastics as the director and head coach of a competitive gym for nearly 20 years.

 

She has trained many gymnasts throughout the years who competed at the state, regional, and national level. In her career Melani helped develop multiple state gymnastics teams, along with many individual state and regional champions. She was a middle school cheerleading coach and has worked with several cheer teams from around the area, as well as working with competive dancers to add tumbling to their skill set.

We are so fortunate to add Melani's extensive training and expertise to our faculty as the head tumbling teacher.

Currently, Melani is a 4th grade teacher in Springfield Public Schools.

 

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a Master of Science in  Special Education.
